What is the Play About?Six actors. "Gods Will Be Boys" is about 30 minutes long. The Greek gods mess with the world. They contrive it so that humans blame each other and governments for misfortune. The gods are ignored. They become angry. They think they have gone out of existence. They return and begin (sensibly) to haul in the sun and the moon. "I'd never been involved with a play before. This was great. I was given free reign to create all sorts of effects - like planets and galaxies that spun and shone in the dark, and three foot high mountains that could change colour and sparkle." - Student |
