What is the Play About?Um is an interlude designed to be played to an unsuspecting audience (in house lights) between two one-act plays. An elderly woman and man appear in the audience and have a heated discussion, as if they were audience members. It evolves that they were once lovers, and they cannot return to the past and make things different. "She's touching my arm! Oh God! She's touching my arm!" |
