God sent the angels to announce the message of peace to the shepherds when Jesus was born in the stable in Bethlehem.

It was a very cloudy evening. Just one single star could be seen shining.
“Wait for me! Wait for me!” called the smallest angel. But the other angels had swiftly left heaven and were heading for earth.
The smallest angel was lost in the clouds. He landed on earth.
“You are in Oceania,” they said.
I’m looking for Bethlehem, said the smallest angel. Glory to God in the Highest and Peace on Earth!
He moved on.
“You are in Asia,” they said.

“You are in the Americas,” they said.

“You are in Europe,” they said.

“Too late! Too late! We’ve already made the announcement,” said all the other angels.
