Dear Mum & Dad,

Well, it’s not very long now before the Wedding. Br. Matthias is fixing up my bus tickets.

This is just a quick note before breakfast. I’ve got a Liturgy test this morning, & will have to learn it after breakfast, so must get this posted now.

We’ve got a Conge tomorrow.

Wish Helen a Happy Birthday from me for Wednesday.

We’ve had a frost these last two mornings. Actually, if we get frosts for much longer we might be starting on frost fighting on the grapes. We are prepared to do it every year, but the opportunity has never arisen. The frosts always seem to finish just before the leaves sprout. All a frost fight consists of is burning oil in drums all round the vineyards at 2 o’clock in the morning.

Well, I’d better go.

Love from
Bruce
