 Mount. Mon. 14th June ’71. Dear Mum & Dad, This will have to be a short note because it is almost breakfast time. I had a cold this week, but it wasn’t bad enough to go to bed, although many others did. I was hoping I would have been in bed by Thursday because that was when we had our history exam. However, I managed to sit it alright. Did I ever tell you that Fr. Cody is going to Rome? He will be studying Theology and probably end up on the staff here. He & Fr, Gifford will be leaving within the next couple of months. Fr Gifford is to study Scripture. Fr. Gifford & Fr. McVerry were the ones cutting the grass with the sickle when you first came up here! Well, I can’t think of much more news. Love from Bruce |
