 Mt. St. Mary’s, Greenmeadows. Sun. 28th March ’71. Dear Mum & Dad, I have just spent every spare moment of this weekend editing the “Vinculum”. I think I told you that the “Vinculum” is a rather longish news sheet that we send to the missionaries every month. Once again I’m late in writing so will have to post this in a hurry. If you want to, you (Parents) can come to the Vigil on Holy Saturday. It will begin at 11 p.m. Saturday in the Theologians Study (bottom classroom), and then we will process to the Chapel. I will be playing the organ. The only trouble is, we are expecting a crowd bigger than we can accommodate, so if you came you’d probably have to be a bit discomfortable. Aunty Lucy Perry came up last Monday. I was lucky I recognized her & called her Aunt Lucy. (She seemed very pleased!) She is now living at Hastings (since last month) & her address is 414 St. Aubyn St. W. Hastings. Tele. 67-110. Of course, she said you were welcome to go & stay when ever you came up. Because Visitors sit underneath the Organ Loft, & I can’t see who the visitors are when I’m standing above them. |
