 15th Oct. ‘70 Dear Mum & Dad, This is just a very short note! I forgot to mention that we will be broadcasting a Sung Mass on the Radio (National Broadcast) at 11 a.m. this Sunday (18th). If you are interested you’d better check the time in the “Listener”. We will be singing (& saying) the New Mass in English. The permanent one (the one that will be said at our funerals – as the saying goes!!) I thought you might be interested to see what the New Mass is like. The Lord Have Mercy, Sanctus, Our Father, & Lamb of God which we will sing are the ones written for the New Zealand Parish Congregations. They are quite good tunes. It is very hot here at the moment.
