Dear Mum & Dad,

As you can see by the big address, there is not much news this week.

I suppose you have shifted into your new house by now.

Bro. Anthony’s mother died last night, so he will be going down to Christchurch tomorrow.

Fr. Joyce from “Futuna” is here taking us for classes at the moment. He is fairly old, but still pretty much alive.

Yesterday, we were shifting the glass house on the back of the truck & it collapsed! Luckily we had taken the glass out. The only mishap was that Dave Latu was hit on the head by a 10ft, 6” by 6” !! But he said it didn’t hurt!

I am going to grow some Butternut Pumpkins in the Veg. Garden but won’t be here to eat the result.

I was wondering if it would be possible, (if someone is comng up on Labour Day (11 a.m. – 5 p.m.)), to bring my camera if it is available with a black & white film in it. (It is not much use getting a coloured one because we wear black & white, & the house is black & white!)

Well, I can’t think of any more news.

Love from
Bruce
