Dear Mum & Dad,

When you get this letter I will be sitting my first Eng. Exam – Tues. 9.30 a.m. – 12.30 p.m. I’ve noticed the tension setting in because I am laughing at anything! You notice that round here at exam time. Everyone gets tensed up & starts laughing – especially if the slightest unusual thing happens in Chapel, then the whole place roars.

I am pleased to see that Francie is coming through next Sunday.

People are still going down with the flu. Of the 49 students, about 30 have had it or have got it, and the other 19 are still waiting. I haven’t got it yet & hope I don’t till after Visiting Day & till after the exams.

Well, I think that that is all. I have to go & prepare Philosophy class for tomorrow. A Conge on Thursday.

Love from Bruce
