What is the Musical About?The script and music is by Bruce Goodman. Only the script and piano score are currently available. Choruses of Gods, Humans and Animals populate this musical of the life of the famous fable-teller. The story is taken from an old Egyptian account of his life. Aesop begins life as a slave and works his way into the highest courts of the known world. We see his fables acted out, as well as some of the Greek myths of the gods. It ends tragically, with Aesop being put to death in Delphi for insulting Apollo. "To see the fables woven into the fabric of Aesop's life was wonderful.
