She decided to have only the one character whom she called Lorraine. Lorraine was to be blonde and slightly on the plump side. Like Author Gwenda, Lorraine wanted a change in her life. She had been following the same routine for years. She had been working at the same job for years. She even cooked the same food depending on what day of the week it was.
Now, wondered Author Gwenda, what do I do next? She researched the flash fiction genre online. There were a number of things that needed to be understood: Flash fiction is a highly compressed form of storytelling that emphasizes brevity.
Aha! Brevity is indeed the soul of wit, thought Gwenda. With one stroke of her pen she had Lorraine go into the garage and hang herself.
