Bradley had the same New Year’s resolution for years. He had turned seventy-five. When he was eighteen he wrote eighteen short stories, one for each year of his life. After that he resolved each year to write another short story to celebrate that year. This year was his seventy-fifth short story. Seventy-five short stories! What a feat! What an amazing thing to have done! It was a milestone to celebrate. Shortly into the New Year he died.
