Dear Mum & Dad,

I was very pleased to see Mehegan, Tony, Helen & Rick last Thursday.

We have just finished (1/2 an hour ago) our 40 hrs. Devotion. We have it every year on the Feast of the Assumption. On Friday, Saturday & Sunday we have Solemn High Mass sung every morning, then exposition all day, until Benediction at 7.15 p.m.

Last Monday we had a very enjoyable Conge at Brookfields – which is on the bank of the Tutikuri River.

I’m in a very big hurry tonight because I’ve got to set up the Sacristy for tomorrow’s Mass. I should have done it earlier, and written earlier. But I didn’t – kept putting it off!

Fr. Joyce from Futuna was here for lunch today.

I saw Fr. Chaney last Monday & he was asking after Leo.

Well, I had better go now. Sorry so short.

Love from
Bruce
