185. Olive's printer was old © Bruce Goodman 13 April 2014 |

Olive’s printer was old. The ink cartridge was getting low. Olive was out of a job, but was applying for jobs left, right and centre. She needed to print off her CV lots of times. She couldn’t afford a new cartridge. It made the CV look shoddy. She sent out the applications nonetheless. The O in Olive looked like a C. Her name looked like Clive. She got an interview! She was highly qualified! She went to the interview! They were expecting a man! They got a woman! Olive not Clive! She got the job! Hurrah! said the employer (to himself), she’s a woman and I don’t need to pay her so much. |
