Somewhere in the futuristic towering megacity, humanity’s apparent last hope was a forgotten algorithm buried deep within the ruins of yesteryear’s twenty-first century. “Where do I begin?” wondered Chrome McCloud. “I have been tasked with the impossible mission of saving the world.” In front of him stood the mostly ruins of the twenty-first century’s greatest monopoly: Amazon. All that remained intact were several thousand boxes of self-published novelettes and shelf after shelf of dusty cans of insect repellent.
