Now that I’m nine I have to stay with my aunt for a while because Dad has a new “fancy lady”. Dad said they would be too busy doing stuff and wouldn’t have time to look after me properly. I couldn’t work it out at my aunt’s because every evening she introduced me to another uncle. I never knew I had so many uncles. I liked it at my aunt’s because I was allowed to play computer games for as long as I liked, that was, until I got sick. When I got sick I was taken to the hospital in an ambulance although no one came with me. I have now been in the hospital for three days. Everyone has visitors and I was hoping my aunt or Dad would come to see me, but so far they haven’t. The doctor has been to see me, and another man came and asked questions about my family and wrote everything down. I don’t know when I will get out of here. I don’t like it very much and want to go home. I told that to the man who took notes and he said he’d see what could be arranged for a visit to a home. Back to Index Next Story Previous Story |
