Kyle was sick to death having his wife’s friends come to stay. Home was meant to be his castle and there was nearly always someone sharing the bathroom, and the sitting room, and the meals. He really wanted his own space. He mentioned it (as he had often done) to his wife and she just shrugged and said he obviously didn’t like people. And then quite suddenly she died. She was electrocuted in the kitchen by the toaster. Kyle was stunned of course, but a funeral is cheaper than a divorce. It didn’t stop his late wife’s friend, Isabella, from coming to stay during the funeral time. The cheek of it. Kyle asked her to leave and she just shrugged and said he obviously didn’t like people.
