There’s no other word for it. It was hilarious. Janette had an appointment at the hairdressers. It was her wedding day. All was planned down to the last ringlet. The wedding was at three, not allowing for the bride being traditionally late. The hair appointment was at eight in the morning. Paula’s appointment at the hairdressers was at the same time as Janette’s. Paula wanted her hair dyed bright green because she was going to glue herself to the Rembrandt painting at the art gallery in protest at what the road workers had done to the endangered Green Conical Snail. Not only was the hair fluorescent lime green, but it encircled her head to resemble a snail shell. It was hilarious the way the hairdressers got the two appointments muddled.
