There was no doubting that Irma lived in the spirit world. She would see things that no one else could notice. She would see unexplained movement, almost paranormal activity. In fact the word given it by her parson wasn’t “supernatural” but “supranatural”. “I’m loathe to call it supernatural when it clearly doesn’t come from God, but it models itself on what we know as supernatural religious experience,” said the parson. Only earlier this evening Irma had said she could see figures dancing next to the dining room wall. “Shadows dancing on the wall. Spirits. Sprites of some sort. Other worldly.
