You wouldn’t believe how stupid some extra-terrestrials can be. The “intelligent beings” from Planet Naphtanitzel are experts at transmogrification. At least they think they are. They can turn themselves into a bird, a lizard, an Earthling, a cow, and so on, at the drop of a hat. That’s how they “think” they are in disguise when they come to investigate Planet Earth. What the stupid Naphtanitzels don’t realize is that everyone can see through their disguise. They don’t look the slightest what they think they’ve transmogrified into. The reason is quite simple: their transmogrification skills are based on the anatomy of their eyes. No other “intelligent beings” in the Universe have a similar eye structure. So when looking with their eyes they have changed their appearance. To all other creatures’ eyes, nothing has changed. They are still their ugly, wart-ridden selves. Hideous. I’ve only to look in the mirror to see the perfect shape of an Earthling. True transmogrification is a very rare cosmic skill. Earthlings certainly haven’t developed it. I know of only one interplanetary society that has succeeded. We shall remain nameless. We plan to take over the Earth. No one suspects a thing. Hee! Hee! Have a nice day – until the takeover.
