Sixteen year old Perry had a fear of heights. “There’s only one thing for it,” his grandfather had said, “and that is to face your fears. You need to go to the top of a tall building and look over the edge. It’s quite safe. Just a brief glance, and then quietly return to ground level. Don’t rush. Do it quietly.”

Grandpa continued: “Today we admire your bravery, Perry. You showed an enormous amount of courage in overcoming your fear of heights. You had said to me, I’ll do it Grandpa, even if it’s the last thing I ever do. It was.”
