Chatterton scatters more paper. Mundy enters. Chatterton spasmodically/neurotically/energetically dances between lines. Occasionally the four not on stage chase each other across the stage.

Mundy: |
Come to my mother's for dinner. |
Chatterton: |
I'm not hungry. |
Mundy: |
You're not eating a thing. |
Chatterton: |
I dine upon my nails. |
Mundy: |
You must sleep. You never sleep. |
Chatterton lies down to sleep and then suddenly frenetically jumps up again. Music fades. Mundy sits on the end of the couch.
