It didn’t take much to give Michael a fright. That’s why everyone called him “Jumpy Mick”. Ever since he was a little kid he’d always taken fright at sudden gestures and sounds. Now that he has had his eighty-second birthday he is over it. At last! At last! Thank goodness!
