3198. Died doing what he loved

Clark’s obituary in the paper said he died doing what he loved to do the most. The occasional obituary reader wondered what that might have been, but in the main people didn’t care. He could’ve been playing tiddlywinks or rowing across the Atlantic in a tyre tube.

Even at his funeral his partner of three years said that “he died doing what he most loved” and no one had a clue what she meant.

It was only a week or so later the news of the circumstances of his death came out. He was shot dead by the police while he totally massacred his nineteenth victim.
