There’s a lot of nonsense spoken about safety (or lack of it) on the streets of this city. It’s as safe as blazes. It’s political. Those who don’t like the mayor spread the false rumour that the city is unsafe. I walk down this street every weekday on my way to work. I carry a brief case, and am happy to admit that my wallet, my phone, and my laptop are in the briefcase. If these streets were violent I would’ve been attacked long ago.
