It was an exciting experience. Jillian was taking her three sons to New York. None had been to New York before. “We shall stick together. We don’t want anyone lost in this metropolitan jungle.” Their stay in New York thus far hadn’t been everything they had imagined it to be. The hotel was dirty, and Jillian didn’t like it one bit. “I have booked another hotel. It’s a surprise. We shall travel there by taxi. But first, on the way so to speak, I have tickets to go to the top of the Empire State.” Off they set! Up they went as high as they were allowed to go in the iconic skyscraper. “Your Great Uncle Steven came up here when passing through during the war,” said Jillian. Her oldest son, Raymond got talking to two tourists from Australia. Down they went and into another taxi. It took only a few minutes before Raymond realized his mother and brothers had gone. He went down to the lobby. They were nowhere to be seen. He had no idea where the new hotel accommodation was. He would wait for them to return.
