When Maminiaina Andriatsiferanarivo-Rakotoarisoa and Sahondra Rabetsitonta-Rakotomalala fell in love and decided to get married they were both happy to keep their own names. It was the surnames of the children they couldn’t agree on. In the end they compromised and hyphenated the two family names into Andriatsiferanarivo-Rakotoarisoa-Rabetsitonta-Rakotomalala.
