Heaven came as a complete surprise to Kevin. It was nothing like he had imagined. He loved gardening and in his declining years he had found it harder and harder to keep up with the weeds and the digging and the pruning and everything. But Heaven! Surely he would be able to garden to his heart’s content without the sweat and heartburn and all that. Flowers! Acre after acre of flower gardens with wonderful pathways and water fountains. And an eternity to do it! When he arrived in Heaven, Kevin was really pleased “to have made it”. He’d done the odd thing wrong and was hoping he could be forgiven. And indeed! Here he was! “I would like to have a garden with flowers and paths and water fountains,” said Kevin to God. And ZAT! It was all there. Kevin stood in his garden. He had eternity ahead of him.
