RAMSBOTTOM

After the town of Ramsbottom in Lancashire. "Rams" are wild garlic, and "bottom" is a marsh or bottom of a valley. So it is "the place of the wild garlic". Locals sometimes refer to their village of Ramsbottom as "Tup's Arse" (a tup being a sheep).
